Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.
Objectives:
Understand the cultural significance of Día de los Muertos and its traditional symbols.
Set up and navigate Canva's design platform and explore its template library.
Learn and apply basic graphic design principles, including layout, color, and typography.
Create a culturally appropriate flyer using text, images, and traditional Día de los Muertos elements.

Those five flyers will be taken to the elective PLC, and they will choose one.
The Best one will be used all over campus, get bragging rights, and a team pizza party!
